These views show the elegant, classic, simple lines which give it the timeless appeal.
The contrast of the black walnut and the white ash are striking, but can be made all walnut [see the office chair].

I believe all Windsor chairs have to have perspective to be beautiful to the eye, this can be seen in the rear view
[all planes have the same vanishing point], this is from the artist eye and has little to do with function, and  a lot to do with aesthetics.

I believe along with good construction this will make my chairs family heirlooms.

The undercarriage, that is the stretchers between  the legs under the seat, may be reduced to a single rear member or configured in a number of ways, so long as there is not a front leg stretcher as this impedes leg movement.
